Using the tool
You may use the tool to open, preview, inspect and convert font files for lawful purposes. The tool runs in your browser, and your files are not uploaded to us.
Your responsibility for fonts
Fonts are software and are usually protected by copyright and licenses. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to open, convert, install or use any font you work with. Converting a font from one format to another does not change its license. Many web font licenses do not allow desktop use, and many desktop licenses do not allow web use. When in doubt, check the font’s license or ask the font maker.
We do not provide, sell or license any fonts.
No warranty
The tool and the content on this site are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We work hard to keep the tool accurate and the guides correct, but we cannot promise that the tool will always work, that conversions will be suitable for every purpose, or that every article is free of errors.
Always keep a copy of your original font files.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, openwofffile.com is not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using, or not being able to use, the site or the tool. This includes lost data, lost profits or problems caused by fonts you convert or install.
